Question #1: Can Star Jackson Live Up to the Hype?

I have zero doubt that Star will take the first snap at QB tomorrow night when we take the ball on offense (I hope we defer the toss if we win because Shorter's offense is in awful shape right now, more on that in my game preview).  I believe that he is the most talented QB and the one who can best lead us to victory.

Those are my thoughts, what are yours?

  1. You're absolutely right Ben. Star is an amazing talent. Although Hill, Schechtler, and Little haven't backed down, we need most talented players on the field at all times. Out of all of them, it seems Little comes the closet. So if CBC sees something in Drew, I'm OK with it.

  2. I agree. If CBC and John Bond turn the reigns over to any of the 3 QBs (Schlechter will be punting and he's very good at it) then I have complete trust in their decision.

  3. Little takes the first snap. He committed to GSU when he had a couple of FBS offers specifically because he wanted to be the first. He hasn't backed down even after Hill out performed him in the Spring game, and Star has received all the hype. I think the coaches will reward him with the first snap.

  4. Still not 100% sure about that. Drew had one FBS offer and that was Boston College. He took a visit up there and didn't commit on the spot (as BC expected) so they offered a local HS QB instead. We were one of his only options, believe it or not.
