Pictures from Chick Fil A Bowl/FCA Breakfast

As many of you know, I grew up a Florida State football fan and had the privilege to attend the Chick Fil A Bowl/Fellowship of Christian Athletes' breakfast at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  The guest speaker was none other than Bobby Bowden, legendary coach of the Florida State Seminoles (who happened to be playing in the game).  Orlando Sentinel FSU beat writer Andrew Carter (who's awesome BTW) did a write up on the event highlights and can be found here.

Matt and I played HS basketball together for a couple of years.

I'm extremely proud of the way he represents the game and his family.

Big Red played in Japan in 2010 and is headed back over for 2011.

Look out for his "little" brother too.  Luke is in the Yankees Farm System.

Monday Quick Hitters - 9.13.10

The Football Team Has Day Off: "Team can re-focus and recooperate."  The task will be great Saturday.  Gotta hit it hard on Tuesday.

"Q: What did you think about Bill Curry going back into coaching at Georgia State?
A: I don't think that Georgia State could have hired a guy more capable than Bill Curry. The guy has coached under all situations and at all levels and I think they're very fortunate to have Bill.

I was so happy when I saw that he won his first ballgame. I think he lost last week. I'm amazed that the first year, they can win any. I know this. Bill is so thorough in what he does. He always has been. He's always been a detail man. They're fortunate to have him and he'll do the best he can do, whatever that is.
