In his first interview since leaving the Crimson Tide program, Jackson told The Tuscaloosa News that his comfort level with Georgia State head coach Billy Curry -- and his familiarity with others in the startup program -- had a strong hand in his decision.
“I’ve known some of the people here for a long time, and Coach Curry is a very good guy along with being a good coach,” Jackson said.
