ATH Lynquez Blair is signee #11 for '11

Swainsboro HS ATH Lynquez Blair has signed with Georgia State and is the 11th signee in the 2011 recruiting cycle. Blair is expected to join the team in June for summer workouts with the other eight freshman.

First of all he is a leader and a great kid. He is the kind of player programs need to build success.
He played QB last year but that was out of necessity. His best seasons came as a sophomore and junior at WR. He runs excellent routes and can run away from defenders on crossing routes. Not really a deep, over the top threat in my opinion. More of a possession receiver but who knows. He was a go-to, playmaker in our offense but we had a sensational QB who put the ball on the money. So I'm not sure if Blair will be a star...but he will be dependable and an important cog.
He also might have value at DB. Didn't play there a ton in high school though. He is a good kick returner as he has had long returns for TDs. Not so good at punt returner as he seemed unsure when catching the ball in those situations.
Again, good athlete...maybe not a game breaker. Very smart and a great leader.
