6'8, 230 pound big man Brandon McGee committed to Rod Barnes and GSU today.
He played for Wabash Valey C.C. and is the 6th D1 commit from this years team (they went 28-5) .

He averaged 14 points and 5.8 boards a game and shot 39% from 3-point land.

He was well-regarded out of HS as the #27 PF and a 4-star in the class of 2007 according to Scout and the #34 PF and #116 overall in the 2007 Rivals150 as a 3-star recruit. He verballed to Kelvin Sampson at Indiana before all the violations and sanctions wrecked the Hoosier program and chose them over offers from DePaul and Iowa.
McGee picked State over interest from Wright State, Murray State, and St. Bonaventure.
