Auburn tight end and Walton High grad Bailey Woods, the son former Georgia Tech lineman Jim Woods whom Curry once coached, has decided to transfer to Georgia State. He committed Thursday, four years to the day after he committed to Auburn.
"Auburn coaches, coaches from other schools that recruited me, not a single person had anything bad to say about Coach Curry, Coach (John) Bond and the whole staff," said Woods, who one scouting service ranked as the No. 5 tight end in the country when he was at Walton.
In May, Woods will graduate from Auburn after three years with a degree in public administration. He has two years of eligibility remaining and can play immediately.
